During a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, I'll spend time getting to know you and understanding the challenges you're facing. We'll discuss your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, review your medical history, and go over any past records or lab results you have. I may also order additional tests to rule out possible medical causes for your symptoms. Additionally, I'll ask about your experiences growing up, such as important milestones and any challenges you faced, as well as any important health conditions that run in your family. This process is tailored to your unique circumstances, ensuring that we address what's most important to you. Your comfort is a priority, and I'll make sure we move at a pace that feels right for you. Once the evaluation is complete, we'll discuss the next steps together so you feel fully supported moving forward. This thorough approach helps me get a complete picture of your situation so we can identify underlying issues and create a personalized treatment plan to help you feel your best.

I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic psychotherapy, and mindfulness techniques to support your mental health journey. CBT helps you identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, while psychodynamic therapy explores deeper emotional experiences and past influences that may be affecting you now. By incorporating mindfulness, we also work on building awareness and acceptance of the present moment, which can help reduce stress and enhance emotional well-being. Together, we create a safe space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, helping you gain insight and develop effective coping strategies tailored to your unique needs.

In psychopharmacological management, I bring my expertise as a psychopharmacologist to help find the right medication for your needs. My guiding principle is to use the lowest effective dosage and to keep the treatment plan as simple as possible to minimize side effects and ensure your comfort. When appropriate, I also recommend lifestyle changes—including exercise, supplements, and dietary modifications—in an evidence-informed way to complement pharmacological intervention. We work together to monitor how the medication and these additional recommendations are affecting you, adjusting as needed to strike a balance between effective treatment and minimizing any unwanted effects. My goal is always to support your well-being in the most thoughtful and individualized way.

A one-time consultation is an in-depth evaluation designed to provide you with expert insights and guidance regarding your mental health. During this 90 minute session, we'll thoroughly explore your concerns, review your medical history, and discuss any current symptoms or challenges you’re experiencing. This consultation is ideal for those seeking a second opinion, wanting more clarity on a diagnosis, or looking for recommendations on treatment options, whether that includes medication, therapy, or lifestyle changes. After our meeting, you'll receive a detailed summary and actionable recommendations that you can use moving forward, whether with me, your current provider, or on your own.

Our ADHD package includes:
90 min comprehensive diagnostic evaluation ($600) to assess for ADHD symptoms and any co-existing conditions, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, or sleep apnea—all of which can have overlapping symptoms. Included in the diagnostic evaluation are:
Lab work to rule out any deficiencies that could contribute to or exacerbate cognitive and mood struggles.
Rating scales that I will ask you, and in certain situations, your parents or caretakers, to fill out.
60 min cognitive test ($200) that assesses the extent of impairment and areas of strengths and weakness. This test can be done virtually or in my office. This is waived If you've already had similar testing done, or in cases where a full battery neuropsychiatric testing is necessary (if deemed necessary, I will refer you to a testing center).
60 min ($350) feedback / treatment planning session where we go over your diagnoses (including ADHD and co-existing conditions), review results of your cognitive assessment, and discuss your treatment plan.
Follow up sessions to monitor and fine tune treatment. These sessions may range from every 4 weeks to every 12 weeks, depending on your need. Refer to fee schedule for following up session costs.
My approach to treatment is integrative, which means that we explore both medication and non-medication options. Non pharmacological interventions I use include evidence backed supplements, life style changes, executive function training, and cognitive training programs. Your preferences are central to our decision-making.
If we decide to use stimulant medications, I conduct drug screening before prescribing for the first time, and occasionally thereafter. This is done not to single anyone out, but to ensure that these controlled substances are used in a safe and effective manner.
My goal is to support your well-being through a collaborative, comprehensive, and personalized treatment plan.
